Youth Representatives for Phuket Expo 2028

On Monday, 3 October 2022, the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) announced the selection of the youth representative who will participate in the final presentation of Phuket, Thailand as a candidate for the Specialised Expo in 2028. The process of selecting the youth representative began with youngsters from across the province of Phuket submitting a self-recorded video focused on the theme: “Future of Life: Living in Harmony, Sharing Prosperity.”  Amongst the 63 candidates selected after the first round were five students from BCIS Phuket: Jessamyn (Year 7), Pornpailin (Year 9), Aleeza (Year 10), Sofia (Year 10) and Thanchanok  (Year 10).

All of our students represented the island and their school brilliantly and we’re pleased to announce that Sofia progressed all the way to the final two. Despite narrowly missing out on being selected, the entire BCIS Phuket community can be proud of her achievement!
