Open Day on 07 May
In the accredited French Programme at BCIS School in Thailand, children embark on a journey of discovery through play, creativity and exploration. They spark curiosity and develop a love for learning, all within a nurturing, multilingual environment that embraces English, Thai and French.
Students benefit from the start of a fully AEFE-licensed French Programme, laying a strong foundation for their future learning.
From their first days, young learners learn to express themselves and communicate in French through French Language Schooling (FLSco), while continuing to grow in English and Thai languages.
The youngest learners of our private kindergarten in Phuket have dedicated spaces to grow, featuring specialised indoor Lego education rooms, an education garden for safe biking with go-carts and a wooden play area for nursery kids, providing a nurturing environment.
Kindergarten children fosters social-emotional growth, helping children develop autonomy, cooperation, emotional awareness and respect through daily activities and play.
Students develop essential water skills from the very beginning and build confidence through engaging and structured swimming classes.
Students enjoy arts and crafts, interactive games, story-time, homework support and outdoor play in our engaging after-school care programme until 3.45pm.
Children explore their passions in our academies such as Dance by STMZ, Swimming, Gymnastics, Ski and Paris Saint-Germain, receiving expert training and enjoying tailored activities.
Our admissions process is simple, personalised and includes multilingual support for international families.
The French Programme’s kindergarten curriculum focuses on five key areas - languages, physical activity, arts, mathematics and science, fostering creativity and exploration.
Exploring the world through play and discovery
In our international kindergarten in Phuket students explore the world through engaging play, hands-on experiments and exciting discovery activities. These activities encourage curiosity, problem-solving and teamwork, laying the foundation for lifelong learning. Through exploration, children expand their understanding of the world, developing essential cognitive and social skills.
Developing strength, coordination and teamwork
Through fun, dynamic exercises, students develop motor skills and coordination. Physical education encourages teamwork and perseverance, fostering both physical fitness and the confidence to try new challenges. Activities are designed to be enjoyable, helping students to enjoy movement while building strength and agility.
Unleashing creativity through art and music
In art education, students' creative expression flourishes through visual arts and music. They’ll experiment with different materials, colours and sounds, while also gaining an appreciation for artistic processes. This subject nurtures imagination and encourages individuality, helping students to communicate emotions and ideas through art.
Building water confidence and essential skills
Students develop water confidence and essential swimming skills through playful activities in the water. Swimming lessons focus on building comfort in the water, developing floating and basic strokes, while promoting physical coordination. These early lessons instil safety awareness and provide students with skills for a healthy, active lifestyle.
Laying the foundation for language skills and communication
Students develop English language skills through songs, interactive activities and simple storytelling. They will gain early speaking, listening and comprehension skills, building a strong foundation for reading and writing. English lessons encourage curiosity and communication, helping your child express their thoughts in a fun and supportive environment.
Exploring Thai traditions and language for a broader cultural perspective
Through exploring Thai culture or learning the Thai language, your child gains a deeper understanding of the traditions and heritage of Thailand. They will engage with local customs, stories and celebrations, expanding their global awareness. Language lessons provide an immersive experience, enriching their understanding of the world around them.Â

Play-based learning encourages exploration, autonomy and creativity, helping students develop a love for learning while building essential skills in a supportive, engaging environment.Â
Life skills in the kindergarten years are crucial for developing social-emotional abilities. Children learn to live together by taking turns, cooperating and managing conflicts.
They also develop autonomy through routines, hygiene, organising materials and taking initiative. Identifying and naming emotions, along with understanding and respecting classroom rules, are key areas of focus. These skills are taught daily through structured routines, class councils, storytelling, role-playing and classroom projects, promoting empathy, self-awareness and positive group dynamics.
Growing up in a multilingual environment with English, French, Thai and diverse cultures, our youngest learners become confident multilinguals. Translanguaging is key to our inclusive curriculum, empowering students to use all their languages to enhance learning, share ideas and connect with their identities.
Through our FLSco (French Language of Schooling) programme in our French International school, students develop core French skills in small groups or one-to-one sessions, building fluency and confidence in a multilingual setting.
