BCIS Phuket offers academic scholarships to students who demonstrate strong academic performance and a passion for learning. Open to both current and new students, these scholarships recognise dedication, curiosity and potential.Applicants from non-GCSE backgrounds are welcome. We carefully review a range of assessment data and academic evidence to ensure every student can showcase their strengths in our global learning community.
Celebrating young achieversStudents in Years 4 to 9 who show curiosity, motivation and strong academic results are eligible for Academic Scholarships. To qualify, students must maintain a GPA of 3.7 or higher and demonstrate consistent academic progress over the past year - reflecting their commitment to learning and personal growth.
Recognising rising talent Students in Years 10 and 11 with a GPA of 3.7 or higher and the potential to achieve 7 A or A* at (I)GCSE or equivalent are eligible to apply. This scholarship rewards steady effort, ambition and a clear commitment to academic excellence.
Supporting future successAt our international school in Phuket, students in Years 12 and 13 who are on track to achieve 3 A or A* at A Level are eligible for Academic Scholarships. To qualify, students must demonstrate a proven track record of academic excellence, including consistent top grades and a disciplined approach to their studies - qualities that define our high-achieving scholars.
To ensure fair evaluation, BCIS Phuket assesses external applicants based on comprehensive data beyond GCSE qualifications.
Applicants must submit prior academic reports and (I)GCSE results, accompanied by a minimum 90% attendance record to reflect strong commitment to studies.
Students may submit certificates, awards and other recognitions from academic competitions and conferences. We also welcome portfolios that show outstanding work.
We welcome optional submissions of independent projects or extended learning - students are encouraged to submit samples to highlight their achievements.
Applicants are welcome to include relevant standardised test scores to highlight their academic strengths.
Students can submit a personalised letter from the Homeroom Teacher and Head of Primary or Secondary that highlight their academic achievements and personal growth.
Applicants are encouraged to share evidence of involvement in community service or local initiatives that show commitment to making a positive impact.
